HEADLINES FROM THE FRONT LINES MAY, 2008

Finally! I know, its been a while and you are just dying to get all the latest news from Battle Born and beyond, so here you go.
Poor old Greg's appendix threatened mutiny if he didn't let them out of his body, so we gave him one day off and let him go to the hospital. But he's back now (as our resident slave labor) and we're cracking the whip at him again. Stop by our myspace page and tell him hello¦ and to get back to work!
Also, if you have a minute, check out revlonrunwalk.com. A friend of the Battle Born family is struggling with cancer and we're trying to support in any way that we can. Nessa and Mando will be walking on Saturday, May 10th so if you see them, say howdy.

New addition to the Battle Born family!
Please welcome The Hell Caminos, the newest members of the Battle Born family who are NOW ON TOUR. And boy what a tour! Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Mississippi, Florida, Washington DC, New Jersey, New York, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan and Missouri in three months time. No excuses, check out what Hawaiian psychobilly sounds like from Hawaiian psychobilly pioneers The Hell Caminos at myspace.com/thehellcaminos. Love them? Can't live another day without their CD? You can get that from their Myspace page as well.

And the rest of our crazy clan....
When was the last time you got a good old fashion tag teaming? The Irish Brothers and The Chop Tops are going to tag team y'all on May 3rd in Corona. If you're 21 or older, go to Angels, 1650 E. Sixth St., Corona, CA. You could go if you're under 21, but they'd make you stand outside so I'm not sure it would really be worth it.

Ready for some more art? Gasoline's third annual art and hot rod show, California Screamin' will come a little earlier this year. On May 10th from 12-6pm you can gawk at some VERY COOL ART and rods¦ and babes. Our very own Candy will have a piece or two on the walls, along with The Pizz, BigToe, and many more so come on down to sunny El Segundo (if you're not going to the cancer walk) and get yourself some cool shit. Oh yeah, and if you missed the SurfBEAT show you really missed out. There were tons of rad people there and I ended up bartending (imagine that...) for a while. What fun! Can't wait to hit Cali Screamin'

In Saddle Tramps news, Primal Wear Bike Jerseys will be putting out a Saddle Tramps downhill and club bike jersey that they will hopefully have out test marketing by July. They'll be sold in bike shops all over California and in select stores in Washington, and around the states. Also, they'll be playing with Dramarama in San Francisco (yup, of Anything, Anything fame), and will return to SoCal in June. Check out their brand spankin' new website for more details.

Howitzer is making quite the splash in the zines these days! Their new 7" "Turncoat" has been reviewed in rockn'roll purgatory, Razorcake, Maximum Rockn'roll, Oi Magazine and a few Florida based rags. Way to go Howitzer!

That's all I got folks. Happy Cinco de Drinko!!!!!! Adiablo.
